Fundraising

Troop fundraising is a cornerstone of our activities, providing essential support for our scouting endeavors. Our annual events, including fall wreath sales and spring flower sales, are not only vital for financial stability but also serve as valuable learning opportunities for our scouts. In addition to developing skills like salesmanship, teamwork, and organization, scouts receive credit towards their scout accounts upon meeting sales goals. This credit can be redeemed for high adventure outings, providing tangible rewards for their dedication and effort. By participating in these fundraising initiatives, scouts not only contribute to the success of our troop but also gain valuable experiences that shape their scouting journey. The funds raised enable us to enrich our outdoor programs, invest in equipment and supplies, and offer rewarding experiences for all members.

Fall Wreath Sales

Commencing in late-September, our troop initiates its annual wreath sale. Partnering with Evergreen Industries, we offer scouts the opportunity to collect orders for wreaths crafted from a distinctive blend of balsam and white pine. These high-quality wreaths are delivered to customers in mid-November, bringing festive cheer while also contributing to the financial health of our troop. Through these fundraising efforts, scouts not only gain valuable experience but also ensure the continued success and accessibility of our diverse range of activities and outings.

Spring Flower Sales

In February, we kick off our second fundraising endeavor: the spring flower sale. Partnering with Gertens, we offer a vibrant array of flowers to customers, with deliveries scheduled for May. These beautiful blooms not only bring joy to recipients but also play a pivotal role in offsetting the overhead costs associated with troop campouts and events. Through these fundraising efforts, scouts not only contribute to the financial health of our troop but also ensure the continued success and accessibility of our diverse range of activities and outings.
