Fundraising
There are many costs involving in delivering an award winning Scouting program such as Troop 409 delivers. To help offset these costs, we conduct two fundraising activities each year: a Christmas wreath sale and a spring flower sale.
The success of our fundraising is dependent on the support and cooperation of all of our scouts and families. This section outlines what to expect from our fundraising efforts and the troop's participation expectations.
Fall
Wreath Sales
Fall wreath sales typically start in late September and conclude in late October. The wreaths are delivered by Evergreen Industries around Thanksgiving to the church parking lot. Scouts and parents are expected to show up and help unload and sort the wreaths. Scouts can then deliver their orders.
Spring
